All of the remaining cars are planned to be open-top Grand Sport Vitesse models. Bugatti planned an original production run of 300 coupes and 150 Grand Sport roadsters, and all of the coupes have been already sold.
“With the Veyron, Bugatti has established itself as the most exclusive and most luxurious super sports car brand in the world. The Veyron is a unique success story and sets a high standard for the future of Bugatti,” said Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, President of Bugatti Automobiles.
Bugatti has been rumored to be working on an even more powerful special edition of the Veyron for the final cars, and to boost sales it has been building multiple special editions like the Legend Edition models, which are priced at €2.13 million each, excluding taxes and transport.
Bugatti has made it clear that it will only begin building a new model once Veyron production has ended.
