Jaguar XJ Gets Sport and Speed Packs that Improve Interior and Increase Top Speed Limiter

The new Jaguar XJ is already one of the best executive sedans available. Now Jaguar is offering two optional packages that make it sportier - Sport and Speed. 

The Sport Pack is made up of a host of aerodynamic tweaks. It adds a front splitter, and a bootlid spoiler. These changes have no effect on the car's .29 coeffcient of drag figure. The Sport Pack also blacks out the front grill and adds black mesh to the side openings and lower front air vents. The pack also includes red brake calipers, 20in wheels and split twin exhaust pipes. 

With the Sport Pack, the interior gets sport seats with enlarged side bolsters and trimmed in leather. It also adds stainless steel pedals and piano black trim. 

The Sport Pack is available on all XJ models. 

The Speed Pack is where the performance upgrades are to be found. It can only be ordered on supercharged XJs that already have the Sport Pack. It raises the electronically-limited top speed from 155mph (250km/h) to 174mph (280km/h).
