Lamborghini Will Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Parade Through Italy Next May

CEO Stephan Winkelmann announced that Lamborghini will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a five-day parade through Italy. It also debuted the event's logo. 

Starting May 7, 2013, Lamborghini has invited owners of its cars to meet in Milan and go on a 1,200km rally through Italy. On the 8th, the cars will travel to Forte dei Marmi, a resort on the Tyrrhenian coast. Then to Rome on the 9th, Bologna on the 10th and end in Lamborghini's headquarters of Sant’Agata Bolognese on the 11th with a gala dinner. Lamborghini will donate 10% of the proceeds to Emilia-Romagna earthquake relief.

Lamborghini has already set up a web site where owners can register beginning on September 20.
