It seems that the new Lamborghini set to replace the Murciélago has already found his name: ‘Aventador’.
According to reports coming from Lamborghini, the Italian brand has registered the name ‘Aventador’ with the U.S. trademark office. Although this name can have different translations, including Spanish slang, it is also the name of a legendary thousand-pound Spanish bull that was named the bravest of the Plaza de Toros de Zaragoza.
The ‘Aventador’ should be the name that will be featuring on the upcoming successor of the Murciélago that recently has gone out of production. The Aventador name should be coupled with the alphanumeric LP700-4 designation.
There is also the possibility that this name could also be used to designate the limited-production version of the Sesto Elemento concept, although it this model should keep its original name.
It could even be something else that Lamborghini has prepared for their fans, but for that we will have to wait.
