concept from 2011 that has a nose quite similar to the new Clio. The car will be somewhat different from the previous generations.

“We’re looking at a different style of car for Espace. It doesn’t escape us that people are leaving big MPVs for crossovers. After four generations, it’s time for a new idea.” Renault design chief Laurens van den Acker.

The Scenic will become more of an SUV and will at least look more off-road capable.

Less is known about the next Laguna, other than that it will use the new styling direction from the Clio.

“The current Laguna is the right car in the wrong clothes. People are impressed with the quality, and the roadholding is good. But in the upper-middle market, customers will be spending upwards of £30,000 for a properly specced car. They expect it to say something about their status. If it doesn’t, you narrow the market," said Renault marketing head Steve Norman.
