Subaru to Show BRZ Sports Coupe Concept at Frankfurt

Subaru and Toyota have been working together to develop a sports coupe combining Subaru's boxer engine and Toyota's chassis tuning. We know Toyota's version will be called the FT-86, but Subaru has finally unveiled what will its version of the platform.

The Subaru BRZ Prologue uses a boxer engine powering the rear wheels. Production will begin spring of 2012.

Subaru launched a teaser web site for the BRZ that shows the engine and a line drawing of the chassis. 

Subaru's press conference takes place on September 13 at 9:30am. They will also be displaying the XV crossover.
