Volkswagen Golf VII Gets New Engines and All-Wheel Drive

is still rolling out all of the car's options. 

It is now offered with three new petrol engine and all-wheel drive. The new engines are a 1.2 TSI BlueMotion with 105ps, 1.4 TSI BlueMotion with 122ps and 1.4 TSI BlueMotion with Active Cylinder Management with 140ps. All of the engines are offered with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG.

4Motion all-wheel drive is now available on the Golf VII. Currently it is only available on 1.6 TDI BlueMotion with 105ps and 2.0 TDI BlueMotion with 150ps. 

Volkswagen is also adding a Driver Assistance Pack for €1,690 on the Comfortline and Highline trims. It adds adaptive cruise control, city emergency braking, bi-xenon headlights with cornering lights and LED running lights, high beam assist, light and sight pack, lane assist, anti-theft system and traffic sign detection. The package offers a €605 savings on Comfortline models over selecting the options individually and a €415 savings on Highline models.
