Mercedes is continuing its slow roll-out of the new B-class ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. We already reported on its disguised reveal of the exterior a few weeks ago. Now Mercedes has released the first images of its new compact's interior.
Mercedes is hoping to bring some of the highlights of the interiors of its higher-end models to the compact B-class. This includes a leather-covered dashboard and a three-spoke steering wheel identical to the one found in the CLS
The most striking thing in the B-class interior are the five chrome-surrounded, circular air outlets for the HVAC system. Above the center-mounted outlets is a touch screen for navigation and other vehicle functions. It will be available in two sizes.
After its debut in Frankfurt, the new B-class will be available throughout Europe in November 2011.
