Mitsubishi Introduces Special Edition ASX Black to UK

Mitsubishi is adding a special edition ASX exclusively for the UK that adds some exterior trim and interior toys. 

Mechanically, the ASX Black is offered in two powertrains. The first is a 1.6 liter petrol, four-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual or a 1.8 liter diesel, four-cylinder with a six-speed manual. The diesel engine can also be optioned with all-wheel drive. 

On the outside the ASX Black gets black 17in wheels, a blacked-out roof, spoiler, mirrors, grille and fog light bezels. The rest of the exterior can be specified in Kingfisher Blue, Polar White, Cool Silver, Amethyst Black, Atlantic Grey and Orient Red. 

The interior gets satellite navigation, a rear-facing camera, iPod connectivity, and a black leather interior with pieces of carbon fiber trim.

The Black edition costs £1,000 over other ASX4 level models. The petrol engine version costs £21,099; the diesel two-wheel drive version costs £23,299; and the diesel all-wheel drive version costs £25,399. All of these prices include VAT.
