. Peugeot claims that it combines the efficiency of the 208 with the utility of an SUV thanks to its 4.16m length. It also gets larger wheel arches with 17in wheels and black bumpers and body sills that feature stainless steel trim.
The roof includes stainless steel roof rails and an integrated rear spoiler. The rear is meant to be inspired by the RCZPeugeot RCZFrance, 2010 > present22 versions

"Creating the 2008 was a real challenge though we had a very precise idea of the vehicle that we wanted to offer our customers. The style brought to life in an early phase remained true to the original design right up to production," said Eric Dejou, the car's style manager.
Peugeot has not revealed all of the engine options for the 2008 yet, but it will be available with the e-HDi diesel and three-cylinder petrol engine. At least one model will have 99g/km of CO2 emissions.
Peugeot plans to reveal more information about the 2008 closer to launch.
