models in the brand's lineup. The brand says the model combines the dimensions and space of the Splash with the price and economy of the Alto.

The European version of the model will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, in March, and should get the same 1.0 three-cylinder petrol engine as the Indian version. For the Asian market this engine has 66hp and, equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, it has a 4.3l/100km fuel consumption with 100g/km of CO2 emissions.

Suzuki hasn't revealed much about the car with the official statement refering that the "Celerio features an exceptionally roomy interior for an A-segment car as well as low CO2 emissions continuing Suzuki’s reputation for pocket-friendly motoring."

The new city car is one of several new models that Suzuki will be launching over the next few years, following the launch of the SX4 S-CrossSuzuki SX4 Gen.2 [SX4] Suzuki Suzuki SX4 Gen.2 [SX4] Japan, 2013 > present43 versions

More information about the new model will be unveiled on the press conference at the Geneva Motor Show on the 4th of March.
