will begin in June, and it will begin taking orders in April. It will not announce the price of the car until the end of the month. Renault announced the car at the Paris Motor Show last year. 

The latest Renaultsport 200 Turbo gets a new 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 200hp, 177lb-ft of torque and a dual clutch, six-speed transmission. It will accelerate to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 143mph (230km/h) The new engine has average fuel economy improved to 37.5mpg (6.3l/100km) and emissions are 46g/km of CO2 lower at 144g/km of CO2. 

The new Renaultsport Clio has a host of upgrades over the old car. It produces 18lb-ft (25Nm) more than the old generation. It is also 36kg (80lbs) lighter than the previous generationRenault Clio Renault Spor...France, 2009 > present2 photos
at 1,204kg (2,654lbs). 

It is also first production car with hydraulic compression stops in the shock absorbers. It works like a secondary damper inside the damper, which improves ride quality and lessens load variations on the tires to improve grip.

The rear suspension has been stiffened by 10% over the previous car, and the front brakes are 8mm (0.315in) larger at 320mm (12.6in).

Renault has done a lot to make the Renaultsport version sportier than the standard car. It gets a front bumper with movable front blades, and the rear gets a diffuser and spoiler. The car also gets a different front and rear bumper, LED running lights, side sills, dual exhaust and 17in wheels.

Inside, the Renaultsport gets boost instruments for the turbo, aluminum pedals, aluminum paddle shifters, sport seats with large side bolsters and R-Link touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Bluetooth and USB.

. A sound-management algorithm takes into account the engine speed, accelerator pedal position and speed to guarantee an astonishingly realistic sound experience. Parameters like volume can be adjusted using the R-Link screen.

It also includes the R.S. Monitor 2.0 that includes a stopwatch, service details, shift light and a data logger. 

The Clio RS 200 Turbo will be offered in Sport and CupRenault Clio RS 200 CupFrance, 2012 > present4 photos
trims. The Sport chassis is the standard version that Renault says is a good balance of comfort and sportiness. The Cup chassis is 15% stiffer, has a 5mm lower ride height and 18in wheels.

Options include 18in wheels, leather bucket seats, automatic climate control, parking sensors.
