Subaru unveils third version of the Viziv concept

The vehicle is 4.4m long and inspired by the phrase "Vision for Innovation" and, according to Subaru, was developed as a vehicle for urban families with an active lifestyle .

In terms of design the car features scissor front doors and rear doors that slide back. One of the most eye-catching points of the new design are the inverted C-shaped headlights and the circular LED fog lights. The hexagonal shape of the front grille is also transported to the rear area of the vehicle.

The Viziv 2 is equipped with four engines, one diesel and three electric. The 1.6-liter boxer diesel engine combined with one of the electric engines provide power to the front wheels while the other two electric motors, powered by a lithium-ion battery, activate the rear axle. The Viziv 2 is equipped with a CVT automatic transmission.

The concept is also fitted with stop-start technology and regenerative braking which help to further improve the efficiency. In addition, Subaru's SI-DRIVE System allows the driver to select different profiles for the engine and transmission.

The interior of the Viziv 2 focus on functionality, safety and fun. The concept is equipped with Subaru's "Vision" advanced driver assistance system with 360º monitorization.
