, which we say teased in a brochure a few months ago. The big news about the new generation is that at least in North America buyers will be offered a brand new 2.0-liter turbo engine. Subaru will reveal the new car at the LA Auto Show on November 30.

Subaru says that the new Forester will be offered with either a 2.5-liter boxer engine with 170hp and 174lb-ft of torque or the new 2.0-liter turbo with 250hp and 258lb-ft of torque. The 2.5-liter will be available with either a six-speed manual or a CVT. The new 2.0-liter will only be available with a CVT,

The Forester will also get a redesigned suspension with a more car-like ride. It will also have more rear legroom

The new style might be the only controversial thing about the car. Over the generations, the Forester has gone from a very blunt, brawny crossover SUV that offered an alternative to the CRVHonda CR-V Gen.4Japan, 2012 > present34 versions
