Developed by Electric Car Corporation the C1 ev'ie is an electric car conversion from a standard Citroën C1. First released in 2009 the C1 ev'ie is a competitively priced electric car.
With body and fittings essentially identical to a standard C1 the C1 ev'ie differs on the inclusion of a fixed-ratio transmission and regenerative braking. The electric model features a standard 5-speed gearbox which is fixed into 3rd gear.
The batteries of the C1 ev'ie have been placed on fuel tank and in the engine compartment which means that no boot space was lost when compared to the standard C1 model.
