Automobiles Michel Hommell was established by Michel Hommell and Gilles Dupré ,in 1990, in Lohéac (Rennes) Brittany. The history of the company is perhaps unique. Michel Hommell, and ex-racing car pilot and the founder of the Rally Cross in France, was the owner of the magazine “Échappement”. He had the ideia of conducting a survey among the Magazine’s Readers on the characteristics they would like to see in a French sports car. Thousand of answers were received and Hommell successfully embarked on the construction of sports cars. Hommells could be seen racing everywhere but in 2003 Hommell was forced to cease production of automobiles.
