The Leader was built by Sylva Autokits Limited, a kit car producer established in 1981 by Jeremy Phillips in Lincolnshire, England. Leader was an open top, two seater, lightweight sports cars launched in 1983. Its manufacturing rights were sold to Swindon Sports Cars in 1985. The brand was kept into production the early 1990's.
