March Engineering was founded in 1968. It debuted in the Formula One team in 1970, when it achieved its best mark in the constructor’s championship: 3rd place. The team was more successful in other championships like Formula Two, Three, Indy Car and IMSA GTP. In 1989 March was bought by Leyton House, a Japanese company. Under the Leyton House badge, the team run two F1 seasons. It returned to the March F1 badge in 1992, but due to finantial problems, it folded in the following year.
