Sprinter is a light commercial van built by Daimler and marketed as Freighliner in North America and Mercedes-Benz in Europe. Sprinter was the result of a joint venture with Volkswagen that also uses the platform and bodyshell in some of its van models. Sprinter was also marketed in the USA as a Dodge model. Sprinter arrived in United States in 2001 and it’s currently on its second generation.

Leland James founded his own trucking company, Consolidated Freight Lines, in 1929. Leland was a visionary and was looking for new solutions to make industrial transportation.
