about:

Nissan presented at the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition 2010 its all-new global sedan model Sunny. The Sunny went on sale by January 2011 in China and progressively expands to 170 countries worldwide under different vehicle brand names.

Introduced for the first time in China in 2003, the Nissan Sunny was the first locally built model from the new Dongfeng Nissan partnership. The model was the key to establish the foundations of Nissan in the passenger vehicle market in China.

With the all-new Sunny Nissan intends to appeal to young families in their 30s looking for a medium sized sedan that combines a dynamic design with a space and quality. It features a 1.5-liter HR15DE engine with dual injectors and a new-generation Xtronic CVT with an auxiliary transmission, MacPherson struts in the front suspension and torsion beam at the rear.

The Sunny is being produced in Dongfeng Nissan’s Huadu Plant in Guangzhou.
