Acura is the luxury automobile division of Honda and it was the first Japanese car brand to enter in the luxury vehicle segment. It was launched in 1986, after a decade of research.

Acura debuted with two models: the Legend and the Integra that were very successful. After a decline during the 1990s, Acura models have enjoyed growing popularity since the redesigns after 2000.

The company currently markets its vehicles in the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and China.
